This place was horrible I’m reading the comments and can’t believe the nice things that are being said. The rooms need updating and our hotel room was infested with roaches and they wouldn’t allow us to move to another room.Said all other rooms were booked.The front desk ppl had horrible customer service!!! You couldn’t pay me to stay in anything affiliated with Rui due to my family and I horrible experiences from this place!!! Only thing worth noting was the beachside jerk chicken everything else was HORRIBLE

Montego was absolutely gorgeous. The staff at Riu were incredible, as was the food and entertainment. Great pools, and the sea was even better! The rooms were perfect, and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Está pegado al aeropuerto y el ruido de los aviones es constante y ensordecedor. Las habitaciones tienen un tamaño decente pero son de los años 80s y algo oscuras. La playaes chica y está llena de algas por todos lados , por lo cual no te podés meter sin pisar algo pegajoso o que se te enrrosquen en las piernas. No es un hotel del mismo nivel que otros 5 estrellas del Caribe (Punta Cana, Playa del Carmen, Cancún o incluso Cuba)A favor: Wifigratis en todo el complejo, suficientes sillas en la playa y pileta y personal super amable.

My first time in Jamaica and had the greatest experience I couldve ever imagined. The staff made us comfortable as if we were the best of friends.The room was awesome and waking up to the soundsand view of the beach was relaxing and calming. The really short drive from the airport help ease my mindso I can take off my travel hat and get into full vacation mode. the drinks and entertainment wasbeyond amazing

We were there as a family, my wife , son daughter in law and two grand children. We loved it , the rooms were comfortable and clean, the pool is large and beautiful ,the beach is kept very clean . We loved the food tried all the restaurants and all were great, rose hall Buffett was my favorite. The evening entertainment was fantastic, my granddaughter loved it. This was my son and his family’s second time there, our first, we can’t wait to return. By the way the staff could not be nicer and more helpful. I recommend this resort very highly!!!!

Towards the end of our stay because of COVID-19, the hotel was shutting down and instead of moving everyone over to their other hotel (right next door) they left the people who were leaving on the Thursday at this hotel.For 2 days, they started to shut down, food was minimal, no entertainment, no nothing, moving beach chairs, pool chairs, etc.Lunch and dinner was the same, like they wanted to get rid of all their leftover food, no dessert.They didn't even say you can walkover to the hotel next door to eat and enjoy whatever entertainment they had.This hotel is not cheap to stay there and was really disappointment on the treatment we received.Would not be going back to any of their hotels.Please think before you book at this hotel chain as all their care about was the bottomline.

We arrived March 12 2020. All was good till Monday the 16th when that night we got an envelope slid under our door an said we will be going to the Reggae for the rest of our trip cause they were closing this facility on March 20. We were to go to the front desk by 9 am Tuesday morning an they told us we should pack up an be in lobby by noon. As a group of 9 we all packed up an went down to find out that we are not going to the Reggae. Other people had been taken there but some of us were left behind. So we decided that day to walk over on the beach to the Reggae an were stopped cause they said we didn’t pay for that place. But the ones that got transferred from our Riu Montego Bay didn’t pay either an they were there. After that we were given left over food, no shows, all bars were closed but 1. Usually there is a beach party an for St. Patrick’s Day they had a bubble party but we had NOTHING! We went to the front desk to vent our frustrations an was greeted by a very RUDE lady. We have been coming to both of these places an don’t know that I would return! Think we should get reimbursement for some of our vacation with everything shut down. Also when we got home we found out other things were also going on. Very disappointed!Waiting to here back from you.Kim W.

Man I got kicked out of this resort. They lied to me. I was in Jamaica for a day and bought a pass to be able to drink/eat etc for the night. The rep at the front sold me a pass for this but did not explain that I would have to leave the resort at 10pm! She stated I could stay as long as I wanted but just was not allowed to stay in any room overnight. Unfortunately was escorted off the property to my hotel.

Habitaciones amplias. No hay elevadores en la mayoria de los sectores de habitaciones, solo largas escaleras no aptas para cualquier huesped. El sector de playa tiene aproximadamente 40 metros, ya que el resto no puede usarse por actividades nauticas y por existir acumulamiento de piedras para evitar oleaje. Hay sargazo.Para usar una mesa de pool o billar debe pagarse US$ 2, el champagno no esta incluido como en la mayoria de los hoteles del estilo, aquí cuesta US$ 25. El sector show y teatro solo para idioma Ingles, el resto es ignorado. No es recomendable, por el mismo dinero existen hoteles con mayores prestaciones.

I've been to this place twice. Once in 2017 and again during spring break in 2020. Each time was AMAZING! The rooms are a bit dated but I was told that they will be closing to renovate the property so I'll return to see the updates. The staff is wonderful and offer impeccable service. They are super friendly and always strive to ensure the guests have a wonderful experience. I literally love this resort.

The resort was good, with excellent service. Everyone was really nice and helpful. Could be improved, for instance there’s no food after certain time and if you’re out for a long time, you would be hungry. The sports bar only has some cold sandwiches, maybe adding some snacks like wings etc would be great as well. We also paid for ocean view room but we couldn’t even see the ocean, we we’re seeing the pool. I thought there would be more Jamaican food and music as well.Overall, it was an okay resort but could be better.

First time in Jamaica.If you never went to the Dominican Republic you def dont know what a good hotel is. This hotel only had 4 restaurants, small beach, and one big pool. Things I did not like:- no room service- no late snacking- sports bar had frozen snacks/food you put in the microwave to eat if you are hungry because all restaurants are closed after 11PM [ I believe]- same food at restaurants and food was ok. [stayed 4 days]- room was okay.- if you are by the pool there is no service meaning if you want a drink....you go to the bar and get it.You can't eat by the pool either.- small hotel.What made the experience great was the staff and the Jamaican people were awesome.I am not sure if all Jamaican hotels are the same but if it was... I wouldnt go back. For the price I stayed at this hotel I can pay in DR with more options to do things,see more hotels within the same areas with no problem, more pools, and way more restaurants.Thanks Jamaica!

Riu is well known for having an abundance of great meal choices and dedicated staff. Exercise activities and pool aerobics are always great because of the exceptionally talented instructors. The bar offers a wide variety of drinks to suit your tastes. There is usually jerked meats prepared on the beach. Even on a rainy day, there is fun to be had at Riu. Overall, there could be enhancements to the hotel's bathrooms and changing facility is all the way in the lobby or a good distance away from the pool and beach. The staff says renovations are planned for the near future. Can't wait to visit again!

The workers were nice but they didn't do what they said.The bed is as hard as a rock,it took us 3 nights to get extra pillows that we asked for multiple times each day,the toilet broke also and was broke for 2 days and I had to fix it myself because no one came (my friends toilet also broke in their room and they had to fix it too).

La verdad no se por donde comenzar. Vivir la experiencia de estar hospedados en Riu Montego Bay fue realmente extraordinaria. Somos argentinos y fuimos con gran expectativa porque teníamos referencias que en el hotel no hablaban español,y si bien es cierto algunos empleados si lo hablan y los que no,hacen lo imposible por entenderte y hacerse entender. Es tanta la predisposición que ponen que el idioma no es barrera para una estadía confortable. El equipo de entretenimiento es fantástico. Leísy y Damián son quienes hablan español y siempre se acercan para ver si estas a gusto y quiénes no lo hablan también hacen que te sientas cómodo integrandote en los juegos o concursos. La limpieza nada que objetar,todos los días nos limpiaban la habitación sin pedirlo,es más había una pérdida en la habitación y no fue necesario informar,lo hicieron inmediatamente. La comida excelente,variada y muy deliciosa. La pileta es muy grande y siempre está impecable. La playa es pequeña pero su agua es muy tranquila y cristalina. Y que decir del detalle que tuvieron el día de mi cumpleaños. Salimos un momento de la habitación y cuando volvimos tenía una bandeja repleta de frutas con una carta de parte del hotel,la verdad fue un bellísimo detalle. En resumidas palabras UN EXCELENTE HOTEL. Jamaica un destino para recomendar por su gente y su tranquilidad. Sin duda volvería. GRACIAS HOTEL RIU Y GRACIAS JAMAICA!!!!

Stayed there in April 2018 for our honeymoon. It surely was a trip that we will remember forever. The staff was very polite, helpful and cheerful. The food was amazing in all of the restaurants! The rooms and all the hotel areas were clean and well maintained. We had a big suite at the beachfront so every evening we would enjoy the picturesque Jamaican sunset. We also enjoyed the watersports, the coconuts on the beach, the pool, the ice machine which was just a few steps from our suite... The only downside was the sea but I was brought up in Zakynthos so I have very high standards.Overall, I definitely recommend this place. Hope we visit it again sometime.

The ocean view room was excellent. I know that the cleanliness of the resort could have been better. The grounds crew only cleaned the beach once and the beach was beautiful until things started to wash on shore and no one cleaned it. I would say that we got kicked off the beach at least three times because of a wedding. My wife and I paid a lot of money to go to this resort and to be kick of part of the beach is unacceptable. When my wife and I got married in Jamaica we got married on the beach and we where told that it was open to everyone at the resort and that there might be some guests on the beach. The house keeping could have cleaned the public areas a little better. The food was pretty bland and I ended up getting food poisoning on my thirdday there and it last for days. I know that my wife and I will not go back to this report we will go back to Jamaica. I feel that the money paid was not worth the stay at the resort.

This is an excellent hotel. The food is extensive and varied, you will not go hungry no matter how fussy you are about your food. The rooms are spacious and kept very clean. The bars are never really busy because the staff are amazing at pulling the drinks. I can not really find fault unless you get upset by seeing weed sold by the floating dealers. If you tell them your not interested they leave you alone. It is popular with all ages though and is routinely smoked around the hotel. That said there is no trouble or rowdyness. The staff could not be friendlier. We will definitely be back, one love Jamaica

The only good thing I have to report about this resort is the food and staff. The facility felt dated and in need of a modern touch, the keys had key rings the size of a woman's purse and expect visitors to walk around with something that size. They charged for everything like not returning a towel as if it won't be found on the hotel grounds. They try to scrap every last dollar our your pocket. An example was they wanted to charge up $95 to carry my friends and myself 3km each way.I have been to many all inclusive resorts and for the cost, I would never go back to Riu Montego Bay. Definitely read reviews and book at your own risk.

We stayed the week of January 19-26 and I can honestly say that this hotel is very clean.And the best entertainment that i have ever seen. Thank you to Rolly Polly, Sunshine Dynamite Chocolate and to the rest of the crew.The shows were awesome.The room is a little bit dark could need better lighting. And the pool is way too cold should be heated a bit especially in the month of January.hopefully you will think of this when renovations starts in the month of April. Overall nice stay keep the good work!

I can't say anything negative about this resort. From food, entertainment, staff, service to the property all around it's excellent. However, we are so disappointed to find out that this property is Also going to be turned into an adult's only resort. Why?? There are two already beside it... Riu reggae and palace? Thisis where we always stay when we visit Jamaica with our kids. Our kids travel everywhere with us. Now we have to find an alternate resort in Montego Bay. We are very disappointed about this change.

The ladies at the front desk were very polite, friendly and professional which made checking in comfortable. 95% of the staff was very welcoming, greeted us in a friendly way.The food was great, the jamaican dishes were well seasoned and cooked to perfection, the steak house was EXCELLENT, our server O'Brien was the best and our meal was just like his customer service perfect. The servers and cooks in the rose hall buffet and Mahoe Bay deserve every tip and better be appreciated by managment because they represent excellent customer service and cleanliness in the restaurants. Snacks need to be improved in the sports bar.Rooms need to be updated, I guess that is why they're renovating, too bad they won't be kid friendly anymore.

It was a more inexpensive resort close to the airport. We didn’t want the far travel time to ocho Rios this time so wanted somewhere closer to the airport. Needs some touch ups and repairs, isn’t the fanciest place but the staff is friendly and the entertainment crew is lively, energetic and fun! Food is average. Five restaurants to choose from but all seem to have some buffet. No champagne which was disappointing bc that means no mimosas in the morning - no mint, bananas and mangos didn’t look the best either

We were here right now as a matter of fact . We arrived yesterday around 3 pm . So far it has been absolutely great! There is not one thing I can complain about.The customer service is top notch. The check in process was smooth and we were greeted with drinks . The room is fresh and clean and cool . Although it is not a new resort everything is clean.The employees here are very nice and sociable. The food is pretty good as well . We had steak yesterday and it was great . It is a rather large resort which is great because everyone finds their own niche in it.They have a kiddie pool and lots of toys and fun stuff to play with if you are a family .The pool is large . We have not had a chance to see the entertainment yet but will check it out tonight. Overall ,I highly recommend it.

Terrible customer service when it came to food and drinks. Entertainment staff were very friendly, but the food service staff were not. Chasing down drinks and food I can eat was what we spent a lot of time doing. Also, things were stolen from my sister’s room, and the staff did not want to deal with it. I don’t mind outdated amenities (which is the case with this resort—wires literally hanging out of elevator buttons) if people are kind. But when both aspects are negative, then that’s it. I will never return to this resort.

Spent my Wedding Anniversary and Birthday weekend there. The room was a little dated but the property is laid out very nicely with great swimming pools and beach. The front desk and customer service staff was very friendly and accommodating especially Savaria who did everything to ensure that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Shout out also to Christopherat the general dining area. Entertaining package could hve been a little better though. Was fun overall

This resort is a good cheap place to stay close to the airport. It’s not the fanciest. The food isn’t that great. But the jerked chicken on the beach is to die for. Lots of good cheap excursions with good snorkeling. You worst part is the constant reminder that you aren’t at Sandals which has a huge sign pointed directly at you on the beach. I’ve been twice and had a great time. Just keep in mind that you get what you pay for. It’s nice enough for the money and the grounds and view are very nice.

My husband and I stayed at Riu Montego Bay for our anniversary the week of Thanksgiving.The place is a little out dated and you cannot get food after 10pm! The only place you can get food is at the sports bar and they only have old popcorn and nachos and cheese. They said they had hot dogs as well but we never found them lol.The alchohol never ran out but the food did. But the staff made the place amazing!! When I say amazing I mean it...Shauna and Clavin at the swim up.bar AMAZING!! Monique AKA TeeTee and Rollie Pollie and the dancer Sunshine with those legs !! OrianAt the beach with the non motorized activities.Just made it absolutely fun and exciting. They let us know they will be closing in April of 2020 and remolding and reopening in September of 2020 , so we will definitely be back again and hope the same amazing people are still working there..They definitely made the stay awesome and you forgot all about no food after 10 andor thepool closing at sunset , it makes it athing of the past. Thanks for everything .

Very nice Hotel. Absolutely lovely staff, very friendly & always happy & smiling. The hotel was very clean & the room's were lovely with wifi, a T.V, minibar with soft drinks in the fridge. There was a bath & a shower over the bath. The kingsize bed was really comfy. There was air conditioning and a fan. The pools are really good. There cleaned every night & there's a swim up bar. The Hotel is right on the beach, which is gorgeous. You can use all the different boats for free. Oh and the food was gorgeous so you may end up putting on weight lol.I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend going here. The hotel has an amazing lobby the outdoor area is kinda small there’s not a lot of activities going on except at the pool the rooms are spacious and a little datedand the beds are very hard which makes it hard to get a good night sleep the resturants are nice but they serve the same thing everyday which was disappointing to say the least the staff was great we meet a gentleman that works at the hotel that gave us an amazing tour when he got off so I would definitely ask the hotel employee’s very discreetly if they would be willing to take you on a tour before booking any excursions also hotel is a short ride from the airport which was very convenient overall it’s a nice place but if your going to be visiting more than four days I would recommend splitting your stay up between two different resorts your on vacation anyway so you might as well enjoy and try something different at least you’ll get a chance to try some different cuisineso I hope this is helpful no disrespect intended just me sharing my thoughts and my experience I hope you enjoy your time here so till next time One Nation One Love

DO NOT STAY HERE! My mom went for a birthday getaway. I’m writing this review for her. This place was equivalent to a motel & that’s actually a compliment for them. The furniture was old, room smelled like mildew, lock on door was broken, and light fixtures in disrepair. When she went to complain they showed her 6 other rooms and they were all horrible. The pictures on the website look nothing like the rooms. This hotel cannot be 5-star. She wouldn’t stay here for free. She left after they couldn’t provide her with a better room then went to another resort.

Great resort for families. Great entertainment for all ages. Rooms were nice however the building our room was in didn't have an elevator so we had to carry the stroller up and down the stairs. We found out about the elevator when we were on our way to our room. We could have requested a different room but the building our room was in was close to everything so we just left it. Staff there were super friendly. The entertainment crew was awesome which made our stay even more fun! Food selection was ok. I felt like some dishes were either too spicy or lacking in flavor. Jerk chicken hut by the beach was great! Overall it was a great experience!

Love this resort !This is my families 3rd time in Jamaica but our 2nd time at this resort.I am a stickler for good food and it is hard finding a resort with good buffet food. That is half of the reason I chose to stay at this location again.The whole staff is amazing! You won’t find one who isn’t up to par in customer service.The rooms are great and the mini bar is filled every other day.The BEST meal at the whole resort is the steak house! Go early get in line and enjoy an amazing steak.I can’t believe how well these steaks were prepared ! We went 3 times that week to the steak house because you can’t be disappointed.The appetizers were a bit shall I say different than what we were used too but all around a wonderful dinner.They also serve jerk chicken and sausages with a variety of sides on the beach daily for lunch. We never missed a day it can be better than the buffet on certain days. Do not miss this meal!Highly recommend this resort !

Great service, staff, food, and beachThe onsite nurse helped us when our 1 year got sick and booked us a taxi to the nearby hospital which was clean and efficient. They had us in and out in about 3 hours after completing a blood test.The beach here is great with lots of shallow water for walking out and easy for th kids to play in.We were very happy with the food and the Italian restaurant was our favourite.The club here is really fun at night and people from the other Riu will often come here for the music.The kids club did a great job and Lea was just amazing. Our kids fell in love with her right away.I love how friendly and welcoming everyone is at this resort. Even the other guests were so relaxed and smiling and talking with us all the time.

14 night hoilday with a party of 17. The staff from the cleaners to the entertainers was very good. Food was good with plenty of choice. The rooms are a little dated but was told that the resort was being revamped next year. Would i go back? Yes one of my best holidays. Stayed in Riu Montego Bay for 10 days at the end of July.It was a great stay, the food was always good, the entertainment team do a great job at keeping both adults and kids well occupied throughout the day.However they do need certain improvements like actually scrubbing down the pool walls and floor because they are cover in gross black residue.Personally also believe the rooms can be better maintained and their beds and pillows can definitely be upgraded as the beds were rock hard and quite unpleasant to look at while uncovered.The beach was pleasant but the majority of the floor is covered with sea weed so its not as clear as it could possibly be.Overall it was a very enjoyable trip.

For an all inclusive, this resort has a lot. Guests from the neighbouring Riu Palace and Reggae often call in to use the pool, extensive beach and events. Rooms are well appointed and though coffee lovers will have to rely on the buffet, there is always something available to cater for every taste. Recommend this as a place to stay between excursions. Service level is good at the busiest times, and a couple of minor problems were fixed within 10 minutes.

The food was okay - 5 different restaurants (Asian, steakhouse, Italian, buffet - they change the menu every day 👍🏻), I don’t remember the other one. The ocean was nice, and calm, and the pools were clean! Close to the airport!!

The Riu was very big, it's not built for people with disabilities, there are only 2 bathrooms on the whole compound, no clocks in the room along with no coffee makers, this place is so out dated it's not funny, it needs a complete overhaul, they still use physical keys for the rooms, they dont give out little tokens of appreciation for staying there like others do, we were very disappointed about the whole place, but the Animation team was fabulous and the bands they brought in were awesome as well, they had for Reggae night a band called Montego Bay and another night they had a band called Rimshot they too were fab. The staff were wonderful. The location and services provided were simply stupendous. The only thing was, the rooms were not up to par, one of our bathroom sinks had the paint chipping off, and compared to the remainder of the resort and all its facilities, the rooms were just not up to the five star mark. I must reiterate however that the staff was very professional and courteous, made the stay all the more comfortable. Was a true pleasure visiting.

From reading all the reviews about the resort and being very skeptical about it.. it was everything I expected and better!!! I recently stayed a week and wished it was a longer vacation, from the cleanliness of my room and throughout the resort was great. The entertainment here and the people who worked at the resort was spectacular.The food was awesome especially the outside grilled jerk chicken on the beach was great! Our minibar was filled with great drinks and the bars throughout the hotel also had great drinks.

The food was great especially the Italian restaurant, the rose garden was good as well. But avoid the stake house, the food was the same just fancier presentation. All the food is the same in the 3 restaurants but can only get the mussels in the Italian one.The biggest complaint I have is they need to spend some money on improving the kid area aka riu land, and update the rooms, and spend more on the bedding.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! From the second we stepped foot into the resort, we were made to feel welcome and at home. The Jamaican people are beautiful, inside and out and everybody here went above the call of duty to make our visit amazing. The rooms are fully kitted with a free mini-bar (dangerous), and a beautiful shower with satellite tv in the rooms. There are 4 restaurants - one a Jamaican/ buffet dining experience; an Italian eatery; a Chinese buffet and a high-class restaurant that serves beautiful fillet steak, lobsters etc. The resort staff are just incredible: they hosted activities all throughout the day and late into the evening - because of them we met other people within the resort and made friends for life! Super Sonic, Barbie Girl, Thunder, Short Boss, String Bean, Ace and all of the other reps are phenomenal - they bring infinite energy and really make your stay an experience. One tip: get involved in EVERYTHING! You're on holiday, so to hell with ordinary rules!I could write a 5,000 word essay on this place and it still wouldn't scratch the surface. In short: go. And thank me later!

When checking into our room, myself and my two cousins, our reservation was for a double bed suite.When checking in, we are told that we were up graded to the honeymoon suite, the problem we did not ask for an upgrade to the honeymoon suite. Back to the front desk, and was told that there are no rooms available that night we had to stay in that particular room we did not reserve. The next day we had to check out, luggage and all, no access to a room or our luggage until after 3 pm!!!!Then we were told to sign a form acknowledging the down grade from the honeymoon suite we never reserved or asked for, to the double bed suite we did reserve.When you only have 5 days and entire day is spent securing a room which was booked and paid for 4 months in advanced it is annoying.We asked to speak to a manager and that request was denied. I find it hard to believe that we are the only customers who had to deal with this situation.I enjoyed the Riu Palace in Aruba but I probably won't ever stay at at a Riu property again.I'm neither rich or famous so I'm sure you don't care!!

Not too much to rave about. The resort was beautiful. Service was rather slow. The elevator was broken in my building my entire stay(4nights). I'm a heart patient so that wasn't pretty in 100 degree weather. Nightly shows were very entertaining. No restaurants open on the resort after 10 or 11pm. Food was delicious yet not as many choices as Riu Peninsula Cancun. I will, however, remain loyal to the Riu franchise. Alot of bang for your buck.

Oh my god where do I start. Had an absolutely phenomenal stay here these last two weeks. We had our wedding here on the 7th of September and had 22 guests with us. Not a single thing went wrong that day and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic it was. For my new husband and I, It was truly the best day of our lives. The entertainment staff are absolutely a 10/10. They work so hard to give the guests an unforgettable experience. All of the wait staff was so pleasant as well and we couldn’t believe the beautiful service we received in every aspect of the time here. We are so sad to leave Riu, and we will most definitely make it back here once they’ve completed renovations. Thank you once again to all of the beautiful people who work so hard to provide the guests with a great time. As well, the jerk hut on the beach is seriously unforgettable. Best jerk chicken of my life. Thank you all! Until next time.

El hotel es excelente; grande, cómodo, limpio y ordenado. Las habitaciones super grandes y comodas. personal con muy buena predisposición y muy amigable. La comida es muy pero muy variada y de buena calidad. Los espectáculos entretenidos. Los tragos son muy buenos al igual que la cerveza; de los mejores que he probado. La pileta es muy linda y grande al igual que el pool bar, pero elagua está un poco sucia. La playa es muy linda (el predio) pero el mar en frente de la misma es turbio y con algas; no es algo que moleste a la hora de meterse al agua pero esta bastante lejos de ser mar caribe típico. Conclusión: lo recomiendo: es un hermoso hotel, con una muy buena relación precio calidad, con un ambiente ambiguo y espectacular de fiesta y relax, pero con una playa que no está a la altura del caribe, aunque pese a eso se la pasa muy bien aquí. Para criticar: nadie habla español, y los espectáculos y actividades son todas en inglés.

Absolutely LOVE LOVE the staff. I had my birthday here and they went above and beyond to leave awesome little surprised for me in my room. The food was awesome and if you ever needed a cab off the resort they provided awesome cab drivers to help you. They had a lot of fun things going on in the resort, the pool was clean and the beach was beautiful. I would absolutely come here again.

Es un hotel más de la cadena RIU, si te gusta este tipo de complejo tiene todo lo previsto.Si queres conocer Jamaica tenés que salir del hotel.En las áreas comunes tiene wifi libre, lenta, y si queres podes sacar por un día , tres o 7 y sirve para 4 aparatos.La comida del bufete es aceptable. Los restaurantes a la "carta" dejan bastante que desear, hay 3, uno de carnes que nunca llegamos a probar, un japonés , muy malo, y un italiano que fue el mejor. Todos cierran a las 21 hs. El bufete sigue habierto hasta las 22, una decisión bastante desacertada, ya qué hay excursiones que terminan a las 9 y tenes que , o ir sin bañarte, o quedarte sin comer.Recordemos que para ir a comer fuera del hotel también lo tenes que planear, ya que no es seguro salir solos.Como a todos estos hoteles les falta mantenimiento, sobre todo pintura.

Nice hotel, however, it can be improved further. It felt very generic as a similar design to others. Overall it was 6/10 rating. There is alot of sea floor grass, which can be off putting to the true blue sky, white sand feeling of tropical beaches.

Lobe this resort, from the staff to the food!!!Only downside is the rooms are a bit outdated, in need of renovations! Otherwise, recommend highly, close proximity to the airport. If you need a taxi outside of the resort, they are safe and superb! Great country to visit and Riu is a must!!

Nice resort, reasonable price. Very picturesque location. Customer service was good. Drinks a little weak. Rooms a bit dated, but didn't spend too much time in the room. Lots to do with the beach and pool. Tip, don't buy 'silver' from the beach vendors - it isn't. Will be back.

Just got back and it was an excellent vacation. Beautiful resort! Awesome pool and pool bar, pretty beach, great food, and very friendly and enthusiastic staff that kept us entertained the whole week. My 9 and 6 year olds loved it. Only a few airplanes went by a day, and it was not an issue at all. Zero complaints!

El hotel está lindo, el problema es que estás enjaulado, porque no podés pasar por la playa hacia otra playa porque te echan los de seguridad, ni a la izquierda que está el palace ni a la derecha que está sandals! Ecxelente.Muy lindas vacaciones.Todo funciona perfecto.Con los Riu no se falla.Solo un error muy importante que no tienen personas de habla ispana y es muy dificil comunicarte.Solo un representante de Nexus llamado Evrad que se porto maravillosamente con nosotros gracias a su perfecto castellano

Las instalaciones muy bien. Me llamó la atención que a pesar de ser un Riu y tener toda rotulación y documentación en español e inglés, sólo encontré 1 empleado en recepción que hablase español

Las habitaciones son enormes! Excelente playa y piscina. Buenos restaurants, bastante variados, todos los días ofrecen cosas distintas. Los shows nocturnos son muy buenos. Super cerca del aeropuerto. Como aspectos negativos: no tienen mucho personal que hableespañol.
