“El hotel en general era muy bonito, muy moderno ya poca distancia a pie de algunos buenos restaurantes. Encontré a la recepcionista de guardia a las 6 pm cuando me registré muy amable. El bar de la azotea era muy acogedor, pero no el personal. El camarero y el anfitrión no parecían amables. Mi esposa y yo decidimos ir al vestíbulo y sentarnos, hablar y disfrutar de la noche. En el vestíbulo, la recepcionista del turno tardío nos dijo que no podíamos sentarnos en las mesas redondas porque eran parte del restaurante. Me pregunté si el maltrato era el resultado de las tensiones raciales en Dallas / Estados Unidos. Viajo a menudo y me veo obligado a lidiar con la ignorancia y los malentendidos de la gente. Espero volver pronto a Dallas y también espero que el personal reciba capacitación en habilidades de servicio al cliente. “The hotel in general was very nice, very modern and in walking distance to a few nice restaurants. I found the receptionist on duty at 6pm when I checked in very friendly. The rooftop bar was very inviting but not the staff. The bartender and host did not appear friendly. My wife and I decided to go the the lobby and sit, talk and enjoy the evening. At the lobby we were told by the late shift receptionist that we could not sit at the round tables because they were part of the restaurant. I wondered if the mistreatment was a result of the racial tensions in Dallas/America. I travel often and am forced to deal with peoples ignorance and misunderstanding. I hope to return to Dallas soon and also hope training in customer service skills are provided to the staff. Communication is the possibly one of the most important part of customer service. The way the staff interacts can make or break an experience.”
