“After three days in a house with no power and no heat during the worst blizzard we have ever experienced, my husband went out on foot searching for somewhere we could shelter. The Courtyard Marriott was open, and despite being extremely short of staff, had managed to clear their parking lot so they were accessible. My husband says “I have never said this and meant it so literally: their efforts were a life-saver.” We’d like to thank Ayesha, Infonta, and the other staff who kept the hotel up and running during the worst blizzard in forty-plus years for efforts far above and beyond the call of duty. We don't know what we would have done without you.”

“Dennis Patel the manager is a very rude man. I arrived very late into Buffalo. I told the worker the night before I would be checking out late the following day as I had an appointment. Then at check out, Dennis humiliated me by scolding me for checking out late. He didn’t offer a day stay or any other options. Just basically made it clear he wanted me to leave. I was also sold a rotten apple with worm inside at the bistro the night before. Didn’t make an issue of it because I was tired. Mr. Patel should not be in hospitality. He just comes across as an extremely cheap, stingy person. The rest of the workers were overall pleasant and helpful. My room was ok. Definitely not worth the money though. Just a no frills average room. Patel doesn’t even smile or show any appreciation to guests.”
