Had to wait 4ever to get buzzed in by the night lady, and I even had to call on my cell phone after waiting 10mins (give or take), to get her to come let me in to get a room. Other than that everything was good. Very convenient location, speedway, highway, Kohl's, a few restaurants/bars, and an iconic local grocery called Horrocks (Highly recommended!!!) are a stone's throw away.

The people at the front desk, one of whom I expect was a manager, were friendly from the moment we arrived. We chose to stay at Fairfield Inn because the rooms were significantly less expensive than those at the Crown Plaza where we were attending a conference. Our room at the Fairfield Inn was comfortable and spacious enough. We also like to have a refrigerator when we travel; this refrigerator is bigger than many we have found at hotels, and it has a small freezer compartment. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection. The pool was unavailable, which we knew before we booked. It would have been nice to have access to the pool, but given that we were busy with the conference at the other hotel, we didn't have much time anyway.

Staff friendly. Pool closed (sounds like it has been for quite some time and even when it was open was below satisfactory). Big disappointment since my daughter was looking forward to swimming after a long day of training. No notices provided. Room 316-Smelled musty, bathroom caulking was black and cracked. Beds-Hard as a ROCK! I did not sleep well what so ever. When I got up I found my 10yr old daughter sitting up in bed staring at the wall. She quickly stated she didn't get any sleep from the rock hard bed and stuffiness in the room. We were both congested and had sore throats. Couldn't wait to leave this place. Over priced for the amenities and comfort provided.

Great hotel. Simple, which is nice. The service was phenomenal, and the room was cozy. The drain did get clogged when we were there but they were quick to fix it. I felt very comfortable there. Highly recommend.

We had a very relaxing and great experience here. Skye, at the front desk, was particularly helpful and kind. She mentioned that the hotel is due for a refresh and had gotten delayed by COVID. This is evident with the condition of some of the carpet but everything was extremely clean. The first thing I always look at in a hotel to see how serious the maintenance and cleaning staff take their duties is the caulk in the bathroom. It's not super easy to maintain and it's a pain to change but it makes all the difference. The caulk in our bath was in perfect condition: no mildew, no broken sections, just well- maintained. The rooms were very spotless and the hotel was super quiet. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
